WORD OF MOUTH ACTIVITIES - AN EXPLANATION
A few newsletters back the re-freshed Word of Mouth website was announced. Inviting you to find all the information about Word of Mouth, what’s happened and what’s happening. Keep an eye on the website as new things continue to be added (i.e. Topics of Conversation) for a refresh of the vast range of topics addressed in previous newsletters.

If you haven’t seen the website in a while, go check it out.
 
But before you do, let’s talk about WOM activities.

Why all these activities?

You may have noticed from the recent newsletters that WOM has been offering specially designed activities. This focus is related to the dedication WOM has in providing you, the community and beyond (because that’s what word of mouth is about) with opportunities to make connections whilst learning, whether for personal or professional growth. 

All the stand-alone activities, as well as the dedicated Podcast and Wine Clubs, are selected and created with careful consideration.
 
The value WOM aims to create is not only from what is obvious, the learning, but what is also not obvious, which are the conversations and moments in between.

The activities go beyond one-off experiences, to introduce opportunities that can form new habits, new hobbies, new outlooks, and vitally important to our well-being - new connections. 

And why collaborations?
Word of Mouth is a true believer of empowerment; no matter what side you are on, the giver and the receiver. 
 
WOM seeks to empower those who have experience and skills (the givers) by providing them with the opportunity to empower others (the receivers) who are always looking for moments to learn and grow and grateful to those willing to share their knowledge and expertise. 
 
It’s not about re-inventing the wheel or being the creator.

It’s about showcasing the wheels that are already in motion, and therefore creating the opportunities to share expertise and knowledge of the incredible and talented people WOM encounters, resulting in a desire to find ways to work together through collaborations. 

WOM loves showcasing others, spreading the word. Because the best information is shared by word of mouth.
