HAVE YOU MET…
Picture
Photography by Carina Adam
the Berlin-based Consciousness Expansion Coach? Sanya, is an inspiration and role model of what can happen when you explore and tap into your own potential. As a coach she thrives in being able to assist others in discovering themselves, to learn to access their authenticity and live their full potential. You may have also seen her talk at the Deep Talk series "Breaking the Silence."
Although starting her path from a road often travelled, Sanya has embraced stepping outside her comfort zone, becoming more self-aware through experiential learning. She is an example of how we can pave our own unique road, in other words, design our own lives (career and personal), by tapping into our own vision that comes from breaking free from the limitations that exist in the 'conditioned' mind.

Starting off as a graduate specialising in Product Design, she has gone on to work in Art Direction, Design, Management, Music, and Events. During her role as an Art Director for an online magazine, she realised how much she enjoyed her responsibilities as a leader and manager in empowering her talented team of artists, photographers, and designers. She did this by encouraging exploration, and supporting and guiding them to step into their power (i.e. potential), as individuals and as a team.
The process of ‘potentiality’ she applied was of particular interest to her during her design studies. It is a process that asks one to seek what one doesn’t yet know but may discover through exploration. This interest showed up over and over again in both her work and in her personal life.

In 2015, the exploration of potentiality became clearer when she decided to commit to a music project. A project that brought her face-to-face with inherited limiting beliefs in her potential to make music, to be creative and to thrive as part of a musical collective.

During the music project, she discovered that the high expectations we have of ourselves, the 'high bar' we set, and the pressures we endure are heavily linked to the personal and collective conditioning we receive throughout our lifetimes.

These expectations are often not authentically our own. Rather, they are the limiting beliefs we passively, and often unknowingly, accept and live by. For example, the unresolved tensions between 'who we think we are/thought we were' or 'who we are told we are' and 'who we wish to be.' All of which can lead to the experience of anxiety, depression, anger, jealousy, fear, self-sabotage and self-rejection.
Her project became true experiential learning in letting go of all expectations, a process that led to an incredible breakthrough.

She realised that she had ‘coached’ herself in getting out of a ‘stuck moment’. She found herself thinking, what if this process of acknowledging and actively challenging limiting beliefs could be shared with others?

This exploratory question led her to discover a range of tools to make this happen, one of which is the world of coaching, and for her, it was specifically Consciousness Coaching®. She committed to the rigorous training because it was clear to her that coaching was her next big step on the path she has been paving.
She continues to pave her path her way, by developing a form of coaching that is more inclusive of the multiple approaches to healing (energy healing, philosophy, psychology and the human experience) as part of her interests and ongoing learning and training. This enables her to provide a more ‘wholistic’ approach to her clients.

She has found her place as a coach for the multidisciplinary and international community in Berlin, where the power of word-of-mouth creates opportunities for people to get directly in touch with her if they are interested in her work as a coach.  Sanya is also working with Susanna as a duo called The Lion & The Wolf.
