HAVE YOU MET…
Picture
Photography by Carina Adam for Intueat
the plant-based chef and creative consultant behind Intuitive Revolution?

Susanna Tosi’s passion for food started in her childhood, helping her grandmother in the kitchen where she learned about traditional Italian food and seasonality. Yet, it was only after she worked as a restaurant manager where she learned about the dynamics of running a kitchen, that she decided to become a chef.

Susanna has been working with food and practicing cooking for about 20 years, initially working in restaurant kitchens and now as a freelancer.

Her work as a chef goes beyond the creation and cooking of food as she brings more awareness of the incredible healing properties of food and herbs to the table. Practicing this awareness daily, has subsequently led to the impact and role of mindfulness in her career.
The combination of the research on food and her work with people, has brought to light how the overwhelming (and sometimes frightening) information we receive regarding the food culture and diets, has created a disconnect between us, our world, the food we eat and how we trust our own choices. This exploration to further understand the intuitive process and its connection to well-being has led her deeper into the creative path, applying creativity and playful discovery as a means to consciously connect with our innate inner wisdom.
But research, exploration and experiential learning is not a process that comes to an end, it is on-going, as one observation leads to the next.

Her work in food and cooking was just a starting point, as it opened up connections to other practices, one of which is writing.

Susanna’s love for writing started in her early childhood and has helped her develop understanding, compassion and vision, consolidating a strong and balanced connection with her inner child.

Susanna's exploration of flavours, places, creative practices and human experiences have contributed to the learnings surrounding the power of writing. This includes how journaling and creative writing combined with other techniques like embodiment, meditation, sound healing, movement and breathing practices can strengthen our awareness through inner dialogue and self-expression, consequently expanding our inner wisdom and intuition.

Susanna is a role model of how you can choose more than one interest to pursue and practice, bringing together your passions to create your own career. She has developed impactful tools using cooking and writing, to guide people, individually and in groups, through artistic expression. Her work has enabled her to travel the world and meet people from all walks of life, seeking opportunities to continue on the path of learning and build her dream profession.  Of which she is then able to share through the facilitation of workshops, retreats and collaborations working as an intuitive coach and creative consultant. For example, in April she is collaborating with an art therapist launching a four-week series of workshops called Conscious Creative Cycles. For further information you can get in touch with Susanna.

You may have experienced Susanna’s talent as the chef behind the WOM salon series that took place in 2018 as well as her project IntuEat/Intuitive Cooking and Eating at a WOM collaborative workshop.
